Learning the Arabic language can be difficult for non-native speakers. At ILB Arabic School we have made it easy and interesting using our excellent methods of teaching.

Our aim at ILB Arabic School is to enhance students’ skills in reciting, understanding and appreciating the Qur’an effectively.

  • One-to-one teaching classes to help students overcome the fear of making mistakes in recitation.
  • Building students’ confidence in reciting and repeating the Qur’an after the teacher.
  • Emphasis on Arabic sounds and correct pronunciation.
  • Applied tajweed rules as guidance for correct recitation.
  • Simple methods of memorisation, knowing starting and stopping points in the Qur’an.

Tajweed

Without the knowledge of tajweed, correct Qur’an recitation cannot be achieved, which affects the meaning of the ayats recited. At ILB Arabic School, excellent knowledge of tajweed can be learned.

  • Practical classes between students and teachers.
  • Knowing the articulation points and characteristics of each letter.
  • Understanding and implementing the tajweed rules that change letters.
  • Exercising and developing the use of the tongue through focused repetition.
